Ficus benghalensis

A centenial banyan(ficus benghalensis) that gives its name to our restaurant, an icon in the city and a proud for Rubaiyat Group.

The tables scattered under the huge branches of this majestic tree, on the terrace or in the internal lounges you will have lunch or dinner in one of the most pleasant and lush enviroment in the city. The tables and the chairs are made of  leather and Ipe wood from Rubaiyat Ranch in Mato Grosso do Sul, one of  the properties of the Group.

A proposal of contemporary and multicultural cuisine, based on first quality ingredients,as prawns of Santa Catarina, Argentinian hake, lobster from Pernambuco and peacock bass, pirarucus and tambaquis from Amazonia, Portuguese cod and meats from Argentina, Australia,Uruguay and also from Rubaiyat Ranch.

The gastronomic proposal rescues the primitive Figueira cuisine,  of clay ovens and iron pots. In its menu, simple, delicious original and brilliant dishes, like rural chicken marinated in fresh herbs,Sicilian lemmon , Dijon mustard and olive oil,  smashed octopus, or crate marine (the freshiest fishof the day prepared in the oven with lobster tail, prawns, scallop, octopus and squid) and grilled cod with potatoes punch – all of them brought to the table in Moroccan bowls and platters of French enameled iron. Even for fans of seafood, there’s an oyster bar with always fresh and fleshy oysters brought directly from Santa Catarina and Cananeia.

In the list of our awarded meat, we suggest you  to prove one of exclusive cuts Rubaiyat, like juicy Rump Summus, tasty Steak and Tropical extramacio Premium Kobe Beef.

The breads and desserts are handmade prepared at the restaurant. You have to taste our bread of raisins, a focaccia of rosemary and hot cheese breads. Before finishing your meal do not resist to the temptation of taste our desserts as pancakes with caramelized condensed milk, the chocolate cake Nemesis o rogel, that intercuts leaves crispy dough and argentinian caramelized condensed milk – all covered with meringu au gratin.
